Dun-Good Riders Trail Report 2/17/24 – The Dun-Good trails remain closed to wheeled traffic. We did receive 4”-6” of powdery snow Wednesday, which we tried to pan but there was just not enough water density in it. Trails are open for snowmobiles, but conditions are poor, there are tire ruts from coyote hunters throughout the system and most east-west trails are still snow/ice covered and slippery, the new snow just covered these problems. The spring break up is back to above freezing temperatures starting Monday with highs in the 40’s for many of the days well into early March currently. Please be patient as we work through spring break up, the conditions are the same as any other year once the snow/ice and frost is gone and trails start to dry up we can start maintaining/grooming the trails to meet the criteria for the County to open them back up. In the interim, please support the local businesses and the clubs if you are in the area, it has been a tough year for everyone.
