We are 30 hours away from trails opening…… I am going to cover a few safety notices and refresh the lettered county highway rules to save someone money. First LOGGING, we have a few areas of logging please slow down in these areas, on corridor 16 East of Dunbar Camp 12 Road at Forest Road 527 to the high lines, on reduced speed is posted, on Corridor 5 South of Dunbar we have detoured the trail onto CC Camp Road from the Pike River to Kidd Lake Road temporary signs are there to guide you on this detour please follow the speed signs logging trucks are using CC Camp Road as well and there are blind hills ride with caution, the last is on Corridor 16 West of Dunbar where 16 meets Jack Pine road.
Now for the opening of the lettered county highways all lettered highways are open from dawn to dusk, speed limit is 35 MPH and turn off your light bars, operating outside of these parameters may cost you money. The lettered county highways in our area that are NOT open are County U west of Dunbar from HWY 8 North to Florence County Line and County I East of Goodman commonly known as Parkway Road. Both of these lettered county highways are closed to ATV/UTV traffic and especially County I will be patrolled.
The trails are all groomed, there are a few washouts all passable but we cannot address until the trails dry out a bit more to haul gravel. Ride Safe and Stay Right!
