DUN-GOOD RIDERS INC CLUB MEETING MINUTES
August 17, 2021 Club Shed – Dunbar, WI
- Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m. by President Brad Reabe – 19 people in attendance.
- Roll was taken, President Brad Reabe, Vice President Debbie Dashnier, Treasurer Dave Schultz, Membership Chair Mary Lou Neumann, Officers Pat Dashnier, Jeff Thielen, Daryl Gardner Jim Schuh Present. Mike Dashnier Absent.
- Motion was made to approve the Agenda with the addition of radio advertising for the open house by Jeff Thielen second Cheri Reabe, Motion Carried.
- July 20, 2021 Meeting Minutes were read by John Criel, Motion was made to accept as read by Dave Schultz, Second by Debbie Dashnier, Motion Carried
- Treasurers Report was read by Diana Schultz, motion was made to accept the Treasurers Report as read by Mary Lou Neuman, second by Chuck Samuel, motion carried.

Old Business
Trail Report/Trail Work/Equipment/Signs
- Now that lumber pricing is starting to come down we will be purchasing lumber for bridge deck and rail repairs. The town/County has finished their work on CC Camp Road we have some clean up work to do in the area. Reroute of summer trail to the snowmobile trail on 600 in the works just need the time to get out and do the work and re-sign. Load of gravel needed for trail between White House and Twin Lake Road.
Town Roads Update
- Town of Dunbar passed Ordinance 22.39 opening all named town roads as ATV/UTV Routes to allow access to the trails and businesses for all town residence. The ordinance is in effect starting September 10, 2021.
County Road O
- Motion made to submit the application to the County to open County Road O from Mountain Road to Veterans Park to allow Vrbo and Airbnb business on Doris and Erickson Drive access to the Dunbar businesses for food and fuel via ATV/UTV. Motion was made by Jim Schuh to submit the Application, Second Jim Shelton motion passed with Dave Schultz Abstaining. Second part of County O is the approval for the $100 Application Fee motion made by Cheri Reabe to approve the money second by Jim Schuh, motion carried.
Wende Mraz Benefit Ride
- The ride went well with a few break downs within the 45 Riders. The day grossed $5,462.00. There was one issue of a breakdown on the trail not recovered, although conflicting reports, we do need to have a better recovery process in place for future rides.
Open House
- Discussed the Committee Meeting that took place August 11. Food and Beverage quantities aligned, beverage cooler sourced from Four Seasons. Any volunteer help always appreciated.
2022 Open House Raffle Item
- Discussed remaining with the General 1000 or changing back to the RZR 900, with the success of sales on the General we would pursue the General 1000 again. Motion by Jeff Thielen, second by Jim Schuh motion carried for the General 1000.
New Business
Team Winnebagoland Bob’s Country Bar
- Need volunteers to sell raffle tickets at Bob’s Country Bar Saturday, August 21. Diana Schultz, Dave Schultz, Brad Reabe and Cheri Reabe volunteered to sell the tickets.
Trailer Purchase for UTV
- The trailer the UTV is currently on was offered for the Club to purchase for $325.00 motion was made by Darryl Gardner to purchase, second Dave Schultz, motion carried.
Industrial Refrigerator Purchase
- Storage need for the open house and other events discussed purchase of industrial refrigerator to meet needs. Motion was made to spend up to $3,000.00 by Darryl Gardner, second Darcie Powell motion carried.
Radio Advertising for Open House
- Discussed advertising the Open House on Frog Station for 60 commercial spots and a remote the day of the event to draw in more people. Cost is $450.00. Jeff Thielen made a motion to advertise with them, second by Chuck Samuel and motion carried.
